GREGORY WASHINGTON, SENIOR PASTOR

Senior Pastor and Founding-Executive of Lighthouse
Baptist Church Ministries, Incorporated - of Henrico, Virginia.
Pastor Washington was licensed to preach in June, 1998 by Little Forest
Baptist Church in Stafford, Virginia under the leadership of the late Reverend
Aubry Jackson and was ordained as a Baptist Minister on May 25, 2002 by
the Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Church Association of Culpepper, Virginia.
Prior to accepting the call to the pastorate, he served as an Associate Pastor
and Director of the Outreach Ministry for several years at Jerusalem Baptist
Church in Doswell, Virginia, under the leadership of Senior Pastor, Dr. E.
Richard Swan.


He is the Founding-Executive of The Benjamin Project Foundation (Bj-P),
which focuses on building young men to be strong leaders in our communities.
Pastor Washington is also a Certified National Teacher and Trainer for
Evangelism Explosion International, since June 1997. He also served as the
Vice President of the Ministers’ Conference of Goochland and Vicinity, and
currently as an Executive Board Member of Greater Works, Incorporated, of
Hanover, Virginia.


Pastor Washington believes he is called specifically to be a biblically sound
preacher, teacher and counselor in the Body of Christ. His aim is to equip
Christians with the tools they need to evangelize, and to trust in the only True and Living God.

ZITA LEE, ASSOCIATE PASTOR

Reverend Zita Lee gave her life to Christ at the tender age of six and was baptized at the Zion Baptist Church in Waterbury, CT.  She accepted her call to ministry and on April 27, 2008, she was licensed to preach, at the Historical Sixth Mount Zion Baptist Church, Richmond, VA under the leadership of Rev. Tyrone E. Nelson.

 

In August 2019, Rev. Lee united with the Lighthouse Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Gregory Washington.  In her servant role at Lighthouse Ministries she serves as Executive Minister, Associate Pastor, Worship Leader, Executive Board Member and Praise & Worship Songstress.  Under the leadership of Pastor Gregory Washington, she was ordained on October 17, 2020.

 

Rev. Lee is a preacher, teacher and songstress who gives God glory for the ministry He has placed in her to be used to edify the body of Christ.  In her servant role for the kingdom over many years she has served as an Associate Minister, Superintendent of Sunday School, President of Christian Education Ministry, Women’s Ministry Director, Sunday School and Bible Study Teacher, Choir Member and Praise & Worship Leader Songstress. In addition to her congregational involvement, Rev. Lee serves as a Volunteer Instructor and Facilitator for the Baptist General Convention of Virginia and Corresponding Secretary for the Baptist Ministers Conference of Goochland & Vicinity.

 

She was educated in the public and private school system in Waterbury, CT and Berkeley School of Business in White Plains, NY.  She attended Union Presbytery Seminary in Richmond, VA in pursuit of a Master of Arts in Christian Education. 

 

Rev. Lee’s favorite scripture is John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”  Her favorite quote “My ministry is to believers, My mission is to non-believers.” Rick Warren

WANDA TAYLOR

WANDA TAYLOR, ASSOCIATE PASTOR

Reverend Wanda Taylor is a Goochland County resident.  She is a mother and a grandmother.  Reverend Taylor was educated in the Richmond/Henrico public school system.  She is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and a graduate of the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University; where she received a Master of Arts in Christian Education.

Reverend Wanda was licensed and ordained to proclaim the word of God by St. James Baptist Church in Richmond, VA under the leadership of the Reverend Samuel C. Barnes, Jr.  She has proclaimed the word of God to many throughout Virginia, Maryland and DC. Reverend Taylor believes that God has called her to the nations.  She is the founder of Global Great Commission Ministries whose mission is to provide support to local and international ministries and to win souls for Christ by preaching, teaching and sharing the love of Christ. Reverend Wanda has won many souls locally and on foreign soil in places such as South America, the Netherlands, Honduras, Jamaica and Africa. 

Reverend Wanda serves as associate pastor of outreach and social media for Lighthouse Ministries, whose mission is to reach, teach and empower disciples for Christ.

Her joyful and energetic, yet humble spirit is infectious. Reverend Taylor's motto is to "Give God the praise in and through all situations and circumstances." Her favorite scripture is Philippians 3:12-14, which encourages her to press on through the obstacles of life as she humbly and happily, works in His vineyard.
